SOLARSPIN TECHNOLOGIES / WINDHOEK

We build systems
that hold.

Real problems come in messy. We research them, shape the right product, test the hard edges and leave the work ready for the people who must run it.

01 / RESEARCH

We do not start with screens. We start with the people, pressure and failure points that make the system necessary.

01 / THE SYSTEM

One engine.
Clear relationships.

SolarSpin is where Freeman’s product work, research, infrastructure discipline and digital craft become one company. Each orbit keeps its own truth.

FOUNDER / PUBLIC MIND

02 / WHAT WE CARRY

Depth before
decoration.

The polished screen matters. So do the network, the permissions, the failure state, the operator at 2am and the person inheriting the build.

01

Field intelligence

Research the real workflow. Find the pressure, the workarounds and the quiet knowledge the brief missed.

  • Problem framing
  • Design science
  • Operational discovery
02

Product systems

Turn evidence into a useful web, mobile or full-stack product with the right decisions built into the flow.

  • Product strategy
  • UX and interaction
  • Full-stack engineering
03

Operational command

Make complex work legible. Give operators one accountable picture, clear actions and evidence they can trust.

  • Workflow systems
  • Command surfaces
  • Reporting and audit
04

Infrastructure spine

Design for the conditions behind the interface, from network reality and access control to secure release paths.

  • Networks and cloud
  • Security thinking
  • Integration design
05

Identity and experience

Build a visual and interaction language with enough character to be remembered and enough clarity to be used.

  • Brand systems
  • Motion language
  • Digital storytelling
06

Handover continuity

Leave the system explainable, supportable and ready to keep moving when a different person takes the controls.

  • Documentation
  • Release evidence
  • Knowledge transfer
03 / PROOF OF WORK

Not a pitch deck.
Working evidence.

Products, platforms and research shaped around Namibian realities. Status is stated plainly. Public proof is linked where it is safe to share.

Public-source research / Story architecture / Brand translation / UX / Frontend / Launch

The public build uses cleared brand material and public story evidence. Private source, records and unpublished media remain private.

04 / THE METHOD

Bring the
untidy version.

The WhatsApp notes. The spreadsheet everybody fears. The workaround one operator remembers. We would rather begin with the truth than perform certainty.

01 / FIELD

Stand where the work happens.

We map the people, constraints, failure points and existing workarounds before deciding what deserves to be built.

05 / FOUNDER STORY

This is not a job
I clock out of.

“I did not build SolarSpin because I needed a name above my work. I built it because building is how I understand the world. I live this craft. I love the difficult parts. I keep going until the system holds.”

My foundations are networks, offshore ICT, enterprise infrastructure and security. Product work brought those worlds together with research, experience design and software. SolarSpin is where the whole practice now lives.

It started in Windhoek in November 2025 with a longer horizon: build a company with enough character to feel like mine and enough discipline to continue long after me. One day, that continuity belongs to Kingsley too.

carrying?

Choose the closest truth. We will use it to shape a useful first conversation, not funnel you through a generic form.

YOUR FIRST ORBIT / OPERATION

Make the invisible work visible.

We start by mapping who does what, where knowledge gets trapped and what breaks when the one person who remembers is not in the room.

If there is another life,
I’ll build there too.

Some lines belong deeper inside the system. This one is for the people who stayed curious long enough to find it.
